Principal Partner

Chief Ajibola Aribisala (SAN) is the founding partner of A.O.S. Practice. He is the epitome of an urbane, self-driven lawyer and a suave international businessman all rolled into one formidable package.
Chief Aribisala, SAN, is engaged in general legal practice, however, his areas of specialization and core competence are in general Insolvency and corporate commercial practice to wit Debt Recovery, Receivership and Assets Foreclosure.
In fact, Chief Ajibola Aribisala, SAN, has been acknowledged as a leader in the area of Debt Recovery and general Insolvency and corporate commercial practices, in which he has carved a niche.
Chief Aribisala, SAN, is also well equipped to advise organizations and investors in the burgeoning Nigerian energy sector, on several legal issues concerning the transfer and vesting of energy property rights and electricity regulation across the broad spectrum of the industry, negotiation and documentation of financing arrangements, obtaining the requisite regulatory approvals, advising on specific tax issues, negotiation, development and finance of new projects, securitization and quantification, among others.
Chief Ajibola Aribisala, SAN, is also an expert in the field of Land Litigation, Title documentations and Land Compensation, upon compulsory Government acquisition.
Chief Aribisala's towering influence has not only been felt on the legal turf, he is also an industrialist with interests spanning the hospitality, oil and gas, and constructions industries, in addition to a host of other areas.
As an ardent advocate, Chief Aribisala (SAN) has risen to the pinnacle of the Nigerian legal profession by his conferment of the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2004 by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee.

    Sunday Adara Esq (Partner)

    He is a Senior Associate and heads the Litigation Department of the Firm. He hold a LL.B.Hons in law from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1992. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and was admitted as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1995.
    He has extensive experience in land litigation and related matters and has been actively engaged in debt recovery and insolvency, which are the core areas of legal practice of the Firm since its inception in 2008.
    Sunday has appeared as counsel in all the superior courts of record in Nigeria and has rendered numerous legal and advisory opinions to clients on Real Estate matters and other related aspects of Property Law as well as in corporate and commercial transactions.

    Abang Mkpandiok, Esq

    Heads one of the sub-litigation units in the firm. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons) from University of Uyo in 1992. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1993. He also attended the University of Lagos and obtained the Master of Laws [LL.M] degree in 2002.
    He is registered by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) as Capital Market Consultant (Solicitor). He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, United Kingdom (ACI.arb) and is a graduate of Central Christian University, USA where he bagged his Bachelor of Arts in Theology in 2006.
    He has been involved in litigation throughout his career and has extensive experience in Land Litigation, Constitutional Matters, Human Rights and Real Property Law. He has been actively involved in Debt Recovery, Insolvency as well as Corporate and Commercial transactions since joining the Firm in 2009.
    Abang has appeared in virtually all the courts in Nigeria and has been involved in rendering numerous advisory and legal opinions on referred matters. He also delivers Public Lectures on topical issues.

    Smart Ikechukwu Iwu, Esq

    Mr Iwu heads one of the sub-litigation units in the firm. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons) from University of Calabar in 2004. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2007. He has Proficiency Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
    He has been involved in litigation throughout his career and has extensive experience in Human Rights and Public interest litigation. He is actively involved in Debt Recovery, Insolvency as well as Corporate and Commercial transactions since joining the Firm.

    Aderemi attended the Lagos State University, Lagos State, where he obtained his LL.B (Hons) degree in 2009. He was admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2010. Prior to studying law, he obtained a B.Sc. in Political Science at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State. He also holds an LL.M degree from the University of Lagos, Lagos State.     Mustapha Olayinka Ajenifuja

    Mustapha Olayinka Ajenifuja, holds a Bachelor Law Degree from the University of Coventry, and a Post Graduate Degree in International Commercial and Maritime Law from the University of Wales (Swansea).     Akinrinsola Mitchel Aribisala

    Akinrinsola Mitchel Aribisala holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Hull, United Kingdom and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2011. Although he interned with the firm at several intervals in the course of his university education, he formally joined the firm as an Associate in January 2012.
    He is presently a member of the Litigation Department, working closely with the Senior Associates in representing the firm - s corporate Clients in high profile Commercial litigation across the superior courts of record.
    Mitchel has also shown considerable interest and increasing aptitude in all of the firm - s core areas of practice, always aiming towards excellent legal service delivery.

    OMOLOLA OMOTOSO

    Omolola was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2014. She attended the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada where she obtained a double major degree in Sociology and Criminology (BA Hons). She then proceeded to study Law at the University of Leicester where she obtained her LL.B in 2012.
    On completion of her Law degree, she immediately proceeded to the prestigious University College London where she obtained her LL.M in 2013.
    Lola possesses excellent oral and written communication skills. She is also an avid researcher and has a hallmark of being meticulous and analytical. Her passion for Law led her to join the AOS Practice team in 2015 as an Associate with the firm.
    Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Legal Research Officer with the ECOWAS parliament.

    WILLIAMS ADEIZA BELLO

    Williams Adeiza Bello obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B Hons) from the University of Ibadan under a Chevron/NNPC University Scholarship in 2010. He attended the Nigerian Law school, Abuja and was admitted as a Solicitor and an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in the 2012.
    Williams' core practice areas cut across Constitutional and Human Right Matters, Land Litigation, Banking Transactions as well as Recovery Practices. Before joining our firm as an Associate Counsel, he was extensively exposed to mainstream Civil and Commercial litigation before various courts as a counsel at Tayo Jegede (SAN) & Co.
    He has exhibited an unbridled energy in the preparation of pleadings and handling of briefs with panache as a member of our Litigation Department.
